Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Customer Support Administrator (IT Specialist) / Installer with an active Secret clearance to travel to Government sites to install network equipment and provide on-site user support when not traveling. Based in Houston, TX, this role supports a multi-year Enterprise Network Installation project.

Responsibilities include installing and cabling, inventory, site coordination, and serving as the on-site point of contact.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 6–9 years IT support experience.
• Active Secret clearance with DEA suitability.
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+ certifications preferred.
• Travel and physical requirements per posting.

Responsibilities

• Install network equipment, rack in cabinets, manage cables, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Government on-site staff and use ServiceNow for tickets.
• Provide on-site user support and resolve Windows-based issues.
