Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Customer Support Administrator (IT Specialist) / Installer with an active Secret clearance to travel across US government sites to install network equipment and provide on-site user support. This role is based in Seattle, WA, with travel up to 70–80% for a multi-year Enterprise Network Installation project.

Responsibilities include installation activities, site coordination, inventory, and on-site customer support in a Windows-based environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma with 6-9 years of experience, including 2-6 years of customer/IT support experience.
Travel: Must be able to travel 70-80% of the time in the US and rent a car.
Clearance: Active Secret with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
Physical: Must be able to work on a ladder and/or scissor lift, lift 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Installation activities include site coordination and installing/removing equipment per layouts.
Racks and stacks equipment in cabinets; manage cables and labeling.
Serve as on-site customer point of contact when not traveling; provide support and issue resolution.
Use ServiceNow for project activities and customer support; maintain SOPs.
