Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Francisco, CA. The role involves preparing patients, operating fluoroscopic/CT/ultrasound imaging, and supporting interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS certification. Travel with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound).
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and hand instruments to the physician.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure patient care.
