Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist with sterile procedures in a fast-paced cath lab setting.

Requirements include 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS/ENPC, state license, and ongoing certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring safety.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
