Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. The IR tech will assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS and state licensure are preferred; travel clinicians receive comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred
• Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations preferred
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
