Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist physicians in sterile procedures within a fast-paced IR lab environment.

Requirements include 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. ACLS or PALS preferred; licensure within state may be required. Travel pay and full benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Current ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures with safety and comfort.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety measures for all staff and patients.
• Support IR lab operations and restock supplies as needed.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.
