Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salinas, California. The role offers 40 hours per week with night shifts in a fast-paced environment and a chance to impact patient care while traveling.

Required qualifications include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS, PALS, radiologic license, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Current ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
Monitor vital signs and procedural details; document findings.
Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
