Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist in Springfield, Missouri. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist physicians in image-guided procedures, while preparing and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT(R) certification, and a vascular interventional credential. Travel assignments include 13 weeks, 40 hours weekly, with the possibility of a tax-free stipend as

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT (R) certification and state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures.
• Report abnormal activity and maintain patient records.
• Monitor patients during all procedures and ensure radiation safety standards are followed.
• Operate IV and dye injector pumps and document procedures.
