Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing–Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Springfield, MO. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist with sterile procedures in a fast-paced lab.

Requirements include 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and a current BLS. Preferred certifications may enhance prospects. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures; ensure comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound)
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; readiness for procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide seamless patient care
