Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging in the IR department, supporting the IR team, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a current license and appropriate credentials, with 18 months of relevant experience preferred. The assignment spans 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and 10-hour daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain designated views per physician orders.
• Assist physicians by passing instruments, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining sterile technique.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in a professional manner.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
