Job summary

American Traveler is actively hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Special Procedures role in Springfield, MO. The candidate must have ARRT (R) certification and at least 2 years of IR experience, with BLS required and CI/VI/RCIS preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Interventional Radiology experience required
• Advanced registry certification (CI, VI, or RCIS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and invasive procedures across various anatomy and pathology
• Provides scrub assistance during procedures, records images, and operates essential patient care equipment
• Monitors patients before, during, and after procedures, using immobilization and transfer devices
• Administers contrast materials and reviews medication reconciliation forms for contraindications prior to contrast administration
• Floats as needed per facility policy
