Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel assignment in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians in image-guided procedures, and monitor patients. Requirements include ARRT(R), BLS, ACLS, and state licensing as needed; 1 year of acute care experience; vascular interventional cert preferred. Travel role offering 13-week duration, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) required
• Licensing as required by state
• Vascular Interventional cert preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in image-guided procedures
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures
• Report abnormal activity
• Maintain patient safety and radiation protection
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use PACS system
