Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role supports physicians in minimally invasive procedures and requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS, and IR experience. Travel pay, benefits, and a dedicated clinical team are provided.

You'll work 40 hours per week, dayshift, 8-hour blocks, in a facility setting. This is a travel position designed for flexibility and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• One year IR tech experience required.
• Valid ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification per state rules.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring safety.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide interventional procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams for patient care.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.

Skills
