Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Bradenton, Florida. The role involves preparing patients, operating fluoroscopic and imaging equipment, and supporting interventional procedures under a clinical team.

The position requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. ACLS/PALS/ENPC and state licensure are preferred, with comprehensive benefits and travel support offered.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations (preferred).
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound).
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide patient care.
• Follow infection control and regulatory protocols.
