Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab in Miami, FL is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment. You will assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced IR suite.

Requirements include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS and radiology license. Travel pay includes competitive wages, benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for readiness.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide patient care.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations.
