Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC. You will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, operate fluoroscopy and ultrasound imaging, and ensure patient safety throughout the care continuum.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive coverage through a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and procedure details; document findings.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff and self.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members.
