Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC. This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, with responsibilities spanning patient preparation, equipment setup, and real-time monitoring.

You will work with physicians and the health team to ensure top-notch patient care and safety. The ideal candidate has 1 year of cath lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS credentials,

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup
• Maintain documentation and equipment logs
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Provide patient safety and quality care throughout procedures
