American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role in Minneapolis. Requires 2+ years IR experience and ARRT certification with BLS on file. ER, OR, inpatient experience and Epic/Excellian charting preferred.

The position offers a day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 672 beds. Travel-ready candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required.
• Experience with inpatient, operating room, ER and interventional radiology settings.
• Experience with X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and upper/lower extremities.
• Experience with IR/Angio procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrostograms, peripheral studies, drainages, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Supervisor reference required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit in a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level III Trauma hospital with 672 beds.
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Average daily caseload of 9 cases per technologist.
• On-call is optional; no weekend shifts required.
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities.
• Uses Epic/Excellian charting system.
• Uses fluoroscopy (Siemens), CT, ultrasound, and PACS equipment.
• Perform vascular, genitourinary, abdominal/pelvic, and neurological procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy.
• Equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulation, sterile technique while scrubbed.
• Scrubs provided by unit.
• First-time travelers considered; returning employees require 3-month gap.

• Uses Epic/Excellian charting system
• Uses fluoroscopy (Siemens), CT, ultrasound, and PACS equipment
• Perform a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, abdominal/pelvic, and neurological interventional procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Responsibilities may include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulating, and maintaining sterile fields while scrubbed in
• Scrubs are provided by the unit
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning employees must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as a staff or per diem employee
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
• Local candidates accepted for this radiology position without radius restriction
• Pending state license accepted at time of offer
