Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role in Wisconsin. The candidate should have 2+ years of interventional imaging experience, ARRT certification, and a valid Wisconsin license if applicable.

Responsibilities include performing cardiac and vascular imaging in IR, with day shifts on weekdays and no weekend calls. Epic experience and trauma level experience are preferred, with travel considerations and housing/per diem

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years clinical interventional imaging experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (VI) preferred.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license (if applicable).
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Must pass telemetry exam with lethal rhythm recognition.
• Experience with angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, angiography.
• Imaging equipment experience including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound and GE Innova IGS or Siemens.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular interventional imaging procedures in IR.
• Day shifts: 5x8 or 4x10 hours; Mon-Fri; no weekends or call.
• Prefer experience with Epic charting system.
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred.
• Floating as needed; ensure sterile technique and patient monitoring.
• Perform a wide range of IR procedures across vascular, genitourinary, neuro and abdominal/pelvic studies.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role requiring 2+ years of clinical interventional imaging experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical interventional imaging experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
• Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred
• State of Wisconsin Radiographer license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart block recognition
• Skilled in procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, angiography, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and systems such as GE Innova IGS or Siemens

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department performing cardiac and vascular interventional imaging procedures
• Day shifts available as 5x8 hours (7:00-15:30) or 4x10 hours (8:30-18:30), Monday through Friday
• No weekends or call required
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Floating required as needed
• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, neurological, and abdominal/pelvic studies
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintaining sterile field, EKG lead placement, and accurate patient monitoring during procedures
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
