American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role. Certification in ARRT R or CCI RCIS is required, along with BLS and an IR-procedures background.

Epic EMR experience is required, and a valid license if applicable. The role will involve 5x8-hour day shifts, with every third weekend and on-call requirements. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and be willing to travel between Cone Health campuses as

• Requires ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of IR experience.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• IR and special procedures experience required.
• Experience at teaching or trauma centers preferred.
• Experience with vascular access, PICC/central lines preferred.
• Procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thrombectomy, TIPS preferred.
• Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) preferred.
• Driver's license required to verify address.

Responsabilidades

• Support Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures unit.
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• Every third weekend work required; call as needed.
• May float to other Cone Health campuses as needed.
• 1:1 patient ratio experience preferred.
• Use Epic EMR, PACS, Siemens equipment, and ultrasound.
• Setup procedures, monitor patients, place EKG leads, maintain sterile field, manage equipment/inventory.
• Follow isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and rapid response procedures.
• Complete onboarding EKG exam with up to two attempts; unit-based training modules.

• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with vascular access, port management, and PICC/central line care and maintenance preferred
• Experience with procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thrombectomy, and TIPS preferred
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) preferred
• Current driver's license required to verify address

Responsibilities

• Every third weekend required
• Call required as needed
• May float to any Cone Health campus as needed
• 1:1 patient ratio experience preferred
• Uses Epic EMR, PACS, Siemens equipment, and ultrasound
• Responsibilities include procedural setup, patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, and equipment/inventory management
• Must demonstrate knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE use, and rapid response/code team protocols
• All staff must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding with up to two attempts allowed
• Orientation includes unit-based, non-billable training modules
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted within that radius
