American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification for a cardiac interventional radiology role.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in circulating and scrubbing, vascular access, sterile technique, and will hold ARRT and SCRQSA certifications with BLS/ACLS in place. Responsibilities include work in a Cardiac Interventional Radiology setting, day shifts with 4x9s, and rotating call coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required.
• ARRT certification and SCRQSA certification required; BLS/ACLS required.
• PALS preferred but not required.
• Licensed to practice if applicable.

• Interventional Radiology unit work in cardiac interventional setting, including diagnostic and therapeutic cath lab procedures.
• Day shift with 4x9s; occasional 5x8s as needed.
• Rotating call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Performs circulator and scrub duties; sets up equipment; monitors patient during procedures.
• Uses Meditech EMR, Philips imaging, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and PACS.
• Travel-ready with ability to float and adapt to hospital policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
• ARRT and SCRQSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Skilled in circulating and scrubbing for interventional procedures
• Experience with vascular access, central venous lines, and PICC line care preferred
• Experience with abdominal, pelvic, genitourinary, vascular, and cardiac cath lab procedures preferred
• Experience with electrophysiology and neurological interventional studies preferred
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
• Meditech charting experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a Cardiac Interventional Radiology setting including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab work
• Day shift schedule, primarily 4x9s with occasional 5x8s as needed
• Call coverage required for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
• High patient-to-caregiver ratios with frequent floating within the hospital, in accordance with facility floating policies and appropriate orientation
• Uses Meditech EMR, Philips imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and PACS
• Performs circulator and scrub duties for a wide range of procedures
• Responsibilities may include equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site prep, and monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias
• May assist with a wide range of interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placements, and catheterizations
• First-time travelers accepted
• Minimal to no RTO approved; any requested time off must be discussed during the interview process
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted under the travel rate
• Returning staff must have been gone at least one year and in good standing at time of departure
• Expected to work some holidays and weekends on a rotating basis with permanent staff
