Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for our Ohio facility. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IR, proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment, and Epic EMR expertise to support patient care and documentation.

You will work 4x10 hour days, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off, plus a regular call schedule. ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, and license (if required), Ohio fingerprinting, and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required, ACLS also required
• License required if applicable
• Proficient with Siemens equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Call requirement includes one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend call every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic interventions
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon signing contract
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location; those at extreme distances will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as travelers at any Ohio State University hospital location
• RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers not considered for this role
