American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role in Missouri. The position requires 1+ year of IR experience and proficiency with Neuro and Body IR procedures, ARRT(R) and BLS certification, and MO or Compact license in hand.

You will work as a travel professional in a teaching or community hospital setting, with 4x10 hour day shifts and rotating on-call duties including weekends.

Formación

• ARRT (R) and BLS required.
• MO license or Compact license in hand at time of consideration.
• Prior teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Experience with abdominal/pelvic, vascular, neurological, and GU IR procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Support Neuro and Body IR procedures in the IR unit.
• Operate single and biplane radiography units.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Mon-Fri with a rotating day off.
• On-call: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week.
• Two technologists on call per shift (primary and secondary).
• Cerner charting preferred.
• Work in a 24/7 facility with possible exposure to contagious illnesses.
• Rotate holidays and inclement weather coverage as needed.
• Must work at least 50% of holidays during the contract.
• OR and portable monitor experience is a plus.
• Candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible to apply.
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, none in first week due to orientation.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
• ARRT Advanced certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with procedures including angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, IVC filter placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, stent placement, and thoracentesis
• Vascular studies experience including carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, endovascular interventions, TIPS, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Neurological procedure experience including carotid angiography, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and vertebroplasty
• Genitourinary procedure experience including catheter/drain exchange, embolization, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, percutaneous stone extraction, renal artery stent placement, and ureteral stent placement
• Operating room and portable monitor experience preferred
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department in a hospital setting
• Supports Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures using single and biplane radiography units
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a rotating day off
• On-call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days of call per week
• Two technologists on call each shift, one primary and one secondary
• Cerner charting system preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Work environment includes routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• Facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, requiring rotating shifts and work during inclement weather
• Must be able to work at least 50 percent of holidays occurring during the contract
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for consideration
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered at the local rate
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, with none permitted during the first week due to orientation
