Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Salisbury, MD. The IR tech will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety with advanced imaging equipment.

The role requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Travel-friendly benefits and a dedicated clinical team back you up throughout the assignment.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Aufgaben

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Follow radiation safety protocols for patients, staff and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and team members to ensure patient care.
