Job summary

Focus Staff seeks a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for assignments in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves operating radiographic equipment to support vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 13-week travel contract and a 4x10 hour shift pattern.

Candidates should have proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety focus, and excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements including lifting, bending, and reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems related to modalities.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor with supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
