Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salisbury, MD. You will assist physicians in minimally invasive procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; licensing and CEU reimbursement may be provided to support travel assignments.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Certification: ARRT/RCIS/RCES (in compliance with state regulations)
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) preferred
• PALS or ENPC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and team members to ensure patient care
