Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced IR RN with conscious sedation skills to support intra-procedural care across IR suites and imaging modalities in a hospital setting.

The role covers 4x9-hour days (0730-1700) with travel eligibility outside a 50‑mile radius, no weekends. You will assist with bone marrow biopsies, angiographic procedures, and post‑care as needed, using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Idaho or compact
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years IR experience
• Comfort with pediatric patients
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references (supervisor last 12 months; peer last 3 years)

Responsibilities

• Cover acute care in IR, CT, MRI, Nuc Med, Ultrasound, and X-ray
• Handle ~4 cases per day including biopsies and complex vascular procedures
• Collaborate with Neuro provider, interventional physicians, and PAs
• Use EPIC EMR for charting and documentation
• Work 4x9-hour days, 0730–1700 with 30-minute lunch
• Possible rare call coverage with 30-minute response
• Flexibility for travel and cross-site coverage across modalities
• Provide intra-procedural conscious sedation monitoring and post‑procedural care if needed
• Orientation with a preceptor and ongoing skill assessment
