Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts.

As an RN Infusion/PICC Nurse you will provide specialized care including infusion therapy and PICC line management, with a focus on safety, comfort, and patient education.

Requirements include at least one year of infusion nursing experience, current BLS, and licensure eligibility. Start ASAP for 13 weeks, with 30 hours per week across 10-hour daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN infusion experience
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for state licensure

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage infusion therapy or PICC placement
• Insert and care for PICC lines and central venous access devices
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient responses
• Monitor patients during infusions and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care across settings
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately
