Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Infusion/PICC RN for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role focuses on infusion therapy, PICC line management, and comprehensive patient care across settings.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, PICC insertion and maintenance, IV administration, and coordination with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment. A BLS certification and state licensure eligibility are required, with additional certifications potentially needed.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an RN in infusion setting is preferred.
• BLS certification is required and eligibility for state licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine need for infusion therapy or PICC.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and central venous access devices.
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient responses to infusions.
