Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel RN Infusion/PICC for an ambulatory care assignment in Decatur, GA. This role focuses on infusion therapy, PICC line management, patient education, and coordinated care across settings.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of infusion experience, BLS, and eligibility for state licensure. Travel RN position offers 13 weeks of work with 40 hours per week and a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in infusion settings.
• BLS certification.
• Eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine infusion therapy or PICC needs.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV meds and fluids; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans.
• Monitor patients during/after infusions; document progress and adverse events.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and home infusion management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols; proper equipment disposal.
• Manage caseload with timely visits and patient satisfaction.
