Job summary

E.R. Jahna Industries is seeking a Travel Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive, troubleshooting, and repair work across mining operations, including plants and dredges.

The role requires frequent travel between locations, with overnight stays and extended trips as needed. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and proven experience in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
• Welding, fabrication, and torch-cutting experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold SPQDC safety and quality standards.
• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, repair, modify mechanical components and structures as needed.
• Weld, cut, grind, and fabricate using appropriate tools and safe practices.
• Inspect machinery to identify wear, defects, and maintenance needs.
• Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and related equipment.
• Travel between locations for scheduled maintenance and emergency support.
• Coordinate with management to prioritize repairs across multiple sites.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work records accurately.
