Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift ICU RN with critical care experience for a 14-bed adult ICU in Illinois. Active IL RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS are required, with CCRN preferred. Cerner EMR experience is highly valued.

Two professional references are required. Responsibilities include caring for adult patients 16+, managing sepsis and strokes, and using Impella, IABP, and Prismaflex CRRT. Night shifts are 10 hours, four nights per week, with potential unit float and no on-call

Qualifications

IL RN license active required.
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred.
CCRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for 14-bed ICU adult patients 16+.
Manage sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular issues, strokes, ventilator/tracheostomy care.
Utilize Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT (Prismaflex).
Night shift schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week.
May float within scope to PCU or Med/Surg units.
No on-call requirements.
Provide critical care nursing to complex adult ICU patients with advanced monitoring.
