Job summary

Johnson Controls is a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. In this role, you will lead moderately complex security projects that protect people, assets, and operations while keeping work aligned to schedule, cost, quality, safety, and customer expectations.

You will drive project delivery from initiation through closeout, defining scope, identifying risks, coordinating resources, and communicating progress to management, customers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years).
• 5 years Project Management experience in security industry preferred or in new construction.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% within region.

Responsibilities

• Lead security projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets are met.
• Define project scope, identify risks, and coordinate required resources for successful installations.
• Provide PM expertise in security system setup, prioritization, and project facilitation.
• Communicate updates and progress to management, customers, and project staff.
• Track expenditures and progress, and manage vendor relationships during installation.
• Close projects on time and within scope, ensuring effective follow-up on open items.
