Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead security, fire, and building automation installation projects across commercial and institutional facilities. You will drive planning, scheduling, budgeting and client communications from inception to completion.

The role emphasizes commissioning to Johnson Controls standards, collaboration with sales and field teams, and proactive risk and cost management to protect margins. A strong engineering or trade background is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of Engineering or trade school training preferred.
• Installation, service, engineering or commissioning experience related to HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, Security management, and Mechanical systems.
• Proficient in communicating technical material to a non-technical audience; able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control assigned projects including security installation projects.
• Oversee commissioning to Johnson Controls standards and manage change orders.
• Coordinate drawing layouts and installation details with teams.
• Analyze financial schedules and risk; provide cost estimates and proposals.
• Maintain project documentation and customer relationships.
