Job summary

Valmont is seeking an Engineer who will report to the Engineering Director and work on varied projects across coatings division, including capital, maintenance, process development, and R&D. The role requires 65-75% travel and collaboration with multiple functions.

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, 3+ years experience (or 7+ with an associate), strong safety awareness, and proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Chemical preferred).
• 3+ years relevant experience; or 7+ years with Associate degree; or 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel 65-75% of the time.
• Professional communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Travel 65-75% to sites domestically and internationally.
