Job summary

Chandler Engineering, a brand of AMETEK Energy & Process Instrumentation, seeks a Field Engineering Specialist to install, startup, commission, decommission, repair and train customers on Chandler products. You will travel extensively and provide on-site and remote support, with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will troubleshoot electronics, perform calibrations, and deliver customer training while coordinating with Manufacturing and Engineering for ECNs/ECRs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical field or service engineering role.
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working on High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) equipment.
• CRM tools like Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Chandler Engineering products remotely or on-site.
• Deliver responsive customer support across multiple channels.
• Coordinate logistics for service trips and submit accurate documentation.
• Quote instrument retrofits and provide calibration/troubleshooting assistance.
• Conduct product training sessions and lead seminars/trade shows as needed.
• Communicate with Manufacturing and Engineering on product issues; manage ECRs/ECNs.
• Use CRM for managing service appointments, work orders, and asset tracking.
• Travel 75–90% of the time, domestically and internationally; weekend stays may be required.
