Job summary

The Project Engineer at Phillips Infrastructure will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for large-scale power delivery and civil projects, including foundations, fencing, grading, and site development. You will work with internal teams and external partners to align project plans with on-site execution and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience with advanced reporting and analytics tools (Excel, BlueBeam, MS Project) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to decipher drawings and specifications.
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
• Experience with substation or utility projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track project quantities and production for field activities.
• Analyze drawings and constructability; present solutions to owners.
• Review plan changes and generate RFIs for constructability issues.
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes to improve efficiency.
• Work with Project Supervisors, Foreman, and Crews for on-site alignment.
• Assist field personnel to resolve issues.
• Apply QA/QC measures in the field for all construction aspects.
• Utilize survey equipment and materials for layout and quality assessments.
• Utilize QA/QC tracking sheets and reports for documenting quality.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Assist with project schedules and field production tracking.
• Generate weekly reports for all project information and updates.
