The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and maintaining reports on progress and safety compliance. Physical demands include lifting, long walks on uneven terrain, and driving to job sites regularly.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • One year relevant construction experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction training within the last 3 years.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and sites to verify safety and specifications.
  • Read blueprints to determine construction requirements or plan procedures.
  • Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
  • Supervise, coordinate, or schedule activities of construction workers.
  • Coordinate work with supervisors, managers, or contractors to resolve problems.
  • Assign work based on material or worker requirements for specific jobs.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards; OSHA 30-hour training is required.
  • Drive a vehicle in performance of duties.
  • Walk long distances on rough terrain in extreme temperatures.
