Job summary

Perry Weather, a fast-growing weather safety platform, seeks a Hardware Technician I to assemble, install, and service hardware nationwide. You will travel 2–4 nights per week, learn quickly, and work on rooftops up to 50 feet high, with tools provided. Dallas-based manufacturing support and a strong safety mindset are essential.

You’ll explain hardware to customers, ensure proper operation with our software platform, and participate in a growing team in North Texas.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions; troubleshoot without supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 2–4 nights per week.
• Clean driving record; able to pass background check and drug test.
• Not afraid of heights; comfortable climbing ladders and working at height up to 50+ feet.

Responsibilities

• Install and service our hardware at locations around the country; travel 2–4 nights per week.
• Assist manufacturing and assemble proprietary hardware at Dallas office (Design District).
• Use hand, power, and electrical tools to assemble/install hardware.
• Work outside at height on rooftops and in lifts; climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.
• Introduce Perry Weather to customers; communicate with on-site contacts and demonstrate hardware in relation to software.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order; tools provided.
• Follow documented procedures and Perry Weather quality standards.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset; follow site safety protocols.
