Perry Weather in Dallas is seeking a Technical Support Specialist who can deeply understand our hardware and software, guiding customers through complex issues with empathy.

You’ll work hands-on with devices, dashboards, and data to resolve problems quickly, document playbooks, and help shape the product roadmap with field insights.

This role rewards initiative, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to keeping customers safe and informed in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting a technical, complex product.
• Real hardware curiosity with hands-on electronics or installs.
• Technical fluency across software to audit logs and configurations.
• Comfort with dashboards and BI tools: Grafana, Looker, Zendesk Explore.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a trustworthy presence.
• High initiative and urgency; ownership of cases.
• Ability to stay composed when multiple customers require help.
• You want to be great at front-line support and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own issues from first contact through resolution across email, phone, and chat.
• Troubleshoot live with clear, calm communication in field conditions.
• Diagnose with data using Grafana, BI tools, and telemetry.
• Escalate with full context and stay engaged until resolution.
• Write playbooks and help articles to prevent recurring issues.
• Automate tasks to reduce contact rates and improve efficiency.
