Job summary

Perry Weather is hiring a Hardware Technician I to join a fast-growing team that protects people and assets with weather safety technology. You will travel to schools, golf courses, athletic facilities, and other sites to install and service our hardware fleet and support customers with hands-on setup and training while learning our systems.

Based in the Dallas area, you’ll also assist our manufacturing team assembling proprietary hardware and learning key concepts as part of a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot without supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively 2-4 nights a week.
• Clean driving record; ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders to rooftops and use aerial lifts to install at 50+ feet.

Responsibilities

• Install and service hardware units at various locations nationwide; travel 2-4 nights weekly.
• Assemble proprietary hardware in our Dallas Design District office.
• Use hand, power, and electrical tools to install hardware.
• Work outdoors at height on rooftops and in lifts in diverse weather conditions.
• Introduce Perry Weather to customers and explain how hardware works with our software.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order; tools provided.
• Follow documented procedures and Perry Weather’s quality standards.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset and follow site-specific protocols.
