Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for outpatient diagnostics. The role involves performing GI endoscopic procedures, managing reprocessing, and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced day shift setting from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with weekend hours.

The position requires at least 2 years of Endoscopy Tech experience, a license if applicable, and experience with EGD, colonoscopy, biopsies, and related procedures. Local candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Endoscopy Tech role.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, PEG tube placement, hemostasis, dilations, and foreign body removal.

Responsibilities

• Performs endoscopic procedures as part of outpatient diagnostics team.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, includes weekend hours.
• Maintains 1:1 patient ratio and uses EpicEMR for charting.
• ProVation experience preferred; ensures sterility and patient safety.

• License required if applicable
• Experience with esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, PEG tube placement, hemostasis, dilations, and foreign body removal
• Experience with endoscope reprocessing
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Includes weekend hours
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Patient population is primarily medical
• Uses EpicEMR for charting
• ProVation experience preferred
• Perform a range of GI endoscopic procedures as part of a medical outpatient diagnostics team
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted
