Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy position in Massachusetts. The role requires prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years in a specialty area, with an MA RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.

The unit features 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays, with rotating 8-hour shifts across 5 days per week. No weekends or on-call duties; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active or conditional MA RN license required.
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required.
• SGNA certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Endoscopy center focused on elective procedures.
• Unit includes 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays.
• Patient population ranges from ages 18-95 with common diagnoses including colon cancer screenings and rectal bleeds.
• Rotating shifts with varying start times, 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on‑call responsibilities.
• Floating required.
• No block scheduling permitted.
• EMR: Epic experience preferred.
• Scrubs of any color permitted.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
• Bi‑weekly orientation schedule.
• RTO limited to no more than 5 days at time of consideration.
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this position.
• Local candidates within a 50‑mile radius accepted at a local pay rate.
