Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. seeks a Field Support Representative to provide temporary, in-house administrative coverage across client sites within the region.

You’ll rotate to replace Office Service Reps and perform multi-disciplinary tasks including mail, packages, reception, and more, under supervision. The role requires heavy travel (up to 75%) and a reliable means of transportation; travel expenses are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a mailroom or professional office environment.
• Capable of performing the basic job functions under general direction.
• Basic knowledge of metering, weighing, logging and other shipping procedures.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction (internal & external) by understanding expectations, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and building relationships.
• Receive, sort, and deliver incoming mail and packages; wrap, seal, weigh, and dispatch outgoing mail/packages.
• Prepare outgoing inter-office pouches and process outgoing items (FedEx, UPS) to meet deadlines; log items and verify accuracy.
• Organize and distribute supplies, verify orders, and monitor inventory of copy supplies; assist with distribution to client employees and affiliates.
• May set up client kitchens/conference rooms, provide reception duties, move boxes or furniture, and prepare reports to measure productivity and billing.
