Job summary

Emerson Power & Water Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Tinley Park, IL. You will join a team delivering on-site instruction, installation support, and proactive maintenance for complex distributed control systems at customer locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of education.
2+ years of customer-facing experience installing control systems and maintaining network equipment.
Willingness to travel up to 75% including overnights.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

On-site instruction of customer personnel; modify maintenance procedures; conduct quality control tests and product evaluations.
Direct efforts of customer personnel involved in installation or modification of control systems and equipment.
Provide engineering advisory support to customers and liaise internally on equipment matters.
Create complete and timely reports detailing problems and services performed.
