Job summary

Emerson has an exciting Field Engineer opportunity based in Riverside, CA. You will join a team of customer support engineers to analyze and solve problems during installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems at customer locations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 75% with US work authorization. PLC/DCS knowledge and power/water industry exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• On-site instruction of customer personnel; modify maintenance procedures and perform quality tests.
• Directly support installation of control systems and related equipment at customer sites.
• Provide engineering advisory support to customers and liaise with internal teams.
