Job summary

Emerson Power & Water Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Tinley Park, IL. You will support the installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems at customer sites, with extensive travel up to 75% and a hybrid work option when not traveling.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 2+ years of customer-facing experience, PLC/DCS/SCADA familiarity, and eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• On-site instruction of customer personnel and writing/modifying maintenance procedures
• Directs installation activities of control systems and sub-systems
• Provide engineering advisory support and liaison within the company
• Create complete and timely activity reports with problem definitions and solutions
