Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is hiring for a travel-focused automation engineer. You will support data center startups, lead testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems, and collaborate with engineers to validate systems on-site across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Willingness to travel across North America as part of the role.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within commuting distance of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow a days-on, days-off schedule per project
