Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel-heavy field role across North America. You will support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and collaborate with system integrators to ensure flawless performance where it matters most.

The four-week paid training builds a foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking. A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is required, with 50-mile airport proximity and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport; relocation assistance available.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site with automation and controls engineers.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Typical travel rotations follow a days on - off schedule (e.g., 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, 14 on-7 off).
