ProAutomated Inc. offers a travel-heavy, growth-oriented role with no fixed office. You will join a team moving automation projects, performing on-site checks, startups, and testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems across North America.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• 3+ years in related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Live within 50 miles of a major airport or relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow schedules: 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off.
• Work with various customers, gaining real-world experience with large companies while being supported by ProAutomated.
